CLOTHING
Â
·    Shirts should cover full chest and back to prevent MRSA, ringworm, etc. from being passed from skin to pad/mat contact (even though you should clean your machines after use, unfortunately not everyone does).
·    Research and surveys indicate that people are reluctant to begin an exercise program if they are intimidated within the environment.
·    Altered shirts contribute to excessive sweat and moisture which can damage equipment.
·    Modest dress prevents anyone from being offended by what others are wearing (or not wearing)
·    Street clothes are not acceptable. Embroidery and design of pants and shirts will damage upholstery. Shows disrespect towards the Fitness Center and its users who are wearing proper attire.
·    No jeans, dress pants, corduroy or cargo type pants, cut-offs or jean shorts are allowed.
FOOTWEAR
·    No dress shoes, boots, hiking shoes, sandals or bare feet are allowed
·    Only non-marking gym shoes are allowed in the fitness centerÂ
