ROCHESTER, N.Y. (February 9, 2015) –Stevens Institute of Technology senior track athlete Gladys Njoku was named Empire 8 Conference women's indoor field athlete of the week on Monday afternoon.
 
The Cedar Grove, N.J. native took first place in the high jump at the NYC Armory after clearing 1.80 meters, which tied her for the fourth-best jump in Division III history, and set a new school record. Njoku is the current leader nationally in Division III in this event.
 
The Ducks are back in action on this Saturday as they travel to Houghton College for the Empire 8 championship.
