ROCHESTER, N.Y. (October 31, 2017) – Three First-Team All-Empire 8 earners highlighted the six all-conference selections from the Stevens Institute of Technology women's cross country team following the Empire 8 Championships this weekend.
 
Sophomore Breanna Veilleux was third overall in the race with a time of 24:26, a pace of 6:34/mile in the 6k event. She was joined of the Empire 8 First-Team by senior Kristen Okorn (6th / 24:47) and sophomore Claire Tantillo (7th / 24:50).
 
Earning a place on the all-conference second-team were junior Jackie Endres (12th / 25:32), junior Paige Metzheiser (18th / 26:12) and senior Kiera Sheridan (20th / 26:27). Under conference guidelines, the first 10 finishers in the Empire 8 Championships constitute the first-team and the next-10 make up the second-team.
 
There were 82 runners competing across the conference.
 
The next stop for the Ducks will be the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship hosted by Empire 8 rival Houghton College. That will be held on November 11 in Houghton, New York.
