HOBOKEN, N.J. – Stevens Institute of Technology's women's fencing 2024-25 schedule has been unveiled by head coach
Jim Carpenter, with 10 regular season meets and competitions awaiting the Ducks.
Following the season-opening US Fencing North American Cup starting October 4, Stevens make the trip east to Long Island for the Sharktank Challenge October 20 against Wellesley, Drew, Wagner, NJIT, and host LIU.
Following the Temple Open October 26, the team returns to standard competition at the Drew Invitational November 3 against the host Rangers, Clemson, NJIT, Wagner, and Army.
The Vassar Invitational November 10 pits the Ducks against Wellesley, Sacred Heart, Cornell, Cleveland State, Northwestern, Tufts, and Yeshiva, with the team closing 2024 competition less than two weeks later against the host Lions and Johns Hopkins November 22 at the Columbia Invitational.
Following its longest in-season break of the year, the team returns to the strips for the Eric Sollee Invitational February 2 against Boston College, Brown, NYU, MIT, and host Brandeis, one week before hosting Army and NJIT for the Stevens Invitational February 9.
The first championship event of the year, the Eastern Women's Fencing Conference (EWFC) Champs take place February 16, hosted by Drew, with CCNY, Dickinson, Hunter, Vassar, and Wellesley joining the Ducks.
Wrapping the regular season, Stevens heads to Teaneck February 23 for the FDU Invitational against the host Knights, Wagner, Temple, Yeshiva, and CCNY.
The National Intercollegiate Women's Fencing Association (NIWFA) Championships March 1 kick off postseason competition, one week before NCAA Regionals, both events scheduled to be hosted by Drew. The 2024-25 season culminates with the NCAA Championship hosted by Penn State March 20-23.
