Dani Dudek

Dani Dudek enters her second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s basketball team after a decorated four-year playing career with the Ducks. Last season, Dudek helped guide Stevens to an 18-11 record and an ECAC Metro Tournament championship game berth.

A 2009 graduate of the Institute, Dudek wrapped up her stellar career by leading Stevens to it’s first-ever conference championship and first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance as a senior.

Dudek finished her career as the program’s all-time leader in assists (679) and games played (116), while ranking second in steals (294), field-goal percentage (.440) and three-point field-goal percentage (.331). The Rockaway, N.J. native also ranks third all-time in career points (1,284), rebounds (844), and free-throw percentage (.725), while ranking fourth in field-goals made with 457. Dudek finished her career on the Hudson as only the second known women's college basketball player at any level to amass over 1,200 points, 800 rebounds, and 600 assists.

An NCAA statistical champion during the 2007-08 season with 7.4 assists per game, Dudek was a four-time all-conference performer and a two-time Empire 8 Player of the Year. A two-time ECAC All-Upstate Region selection, she was twice named to the All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association first-team. Dudek also earned two Women’s Basketball Coaches Association/State Farm All-East Region honors, while being named a WBCA/State Farm Honorable Mention All-American on two occasions. Also a D3Hoops.com second-team All-American, Dudek was twice named to the D3Hoops.com All-Atlantic Region team.
