SKILLMAN, N.J. (July 20, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team in addition to four members being named Scholar-Athletes.
 
The team award is the first for Stevens since 2011, and the four members are the most since Stevens placed six that same year.
 
The honor is bestowed onto squads who carried a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher, and individuals who carried a 3.50 GPA. Senior Matthew Heinrich, junior Charles Drake, and freshmen Danny Polk and David Schulz comprised the Stevens list.
 
The award adds to an already impressive of accomplishments for the Ducks that included a sixth consecutive Empire 8 Conference Championship, after a team-record 19 win season in a scheduled that included 11 nationally ranked opponents.
 
Stevens will take the court for the first time this fall on September 4 when it'll compete at the Stonybrook Invitational.
