HOBOKEN, N.J. (June 20, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team announced its 11-match 2016 fall schedule Monday on stevensducks.com.

The Ducks are coming off an eight-win campaign in 2015 in which they made the Empire 8 Conference Championship final for the second-straight year. Stevens has won at least eight matches in 10 consecutive seasons. 

Stevens opens its season on September 3 at Nazareth College before ending the opening weekend the following day with a noon match at defending E8 champion Ithaca College. 

The home opener against Alfred University comes next on September 10, followed by two more road matches at Houghton College and Drew University on September 17 and 21 respectively. 

From there, Stevens opens a four-match homestand starting with Utica College on September 24, and ending on October 2 against Hartwick College. Sandwiched in between will be a non-conference showdown with Muhlenberg College, and an E8 matchup with St. John Fisher College. 

The Ducks will play their final road match of the regular season against Elmira College on October 8, before concluding the slate at home against Stockton University on October 12.

This year's E8 championship weekend will take place October 15-16 on the campus of Houghton College. 

Stevens returns five of its top six singles players from a season ago in junior Katrina Guido, senior Alexis Connor, senior Jillian Morneau, sophomore Victoria Piskarev, and sophomore Sydney Zoretic, while its top two doubles teams return in freshman Jill Hadwen/Piskarev and Guido/Zoretic.
