Coach Aldins says: "Losing another season to injury, "RD" has done nothing, but bring a positive, team-first attitude to the clubhouse and field each and every day. From an on-the-field standpoint, Ryan is a talented hitter and will be competing for at-bats in 2016."
 
2016: was the Ducks' recipient of Empire 8's Sportsman of the Year...hit by a pitch vs. TCNJ (3/8)...went 1-for-1 with an RBI vs. Ithaca in the Empire 8 Tournament (5/12).

2015: Did not play due to injury.

2014: Did not play due to injury.

2013: appeared in 2 games, while posting a .500 batting average before his season ended prematurely due to injury...collected his first career base hit and drove in two runs vs. Yeshiva (2/20)...went 1-for-1 vs. John Jay (3/9).

High School: earned High Honor Roll each year...played for coach Brad Wetzel at West Morris Mendham High School...batted .370 his senior year and was named 2^nd Team All-Conference...played summer baseball for the North Jersey Heat under coach Jake Brooks...attended Harvard University’s Play to Win Camp...also competed in basketball at Mendham.
 
Personal: son of Kevin and Laura Donovan...dad played baseball, basketball, and football at Cornell College in Iowa...older brother Michael is also a member of the Stevens baseball program...also has a sister named Kathleen...planning on majoring in Quantitative Finance...born 9/2/1994...picked Stevens because of the campus and his interest in Quantitative Finance...top MLB team and player are the Boston Red Sox and Miguel Cabrera...favorite book is A Tale of Two Cities...top movie is Summer Catch...enjoys watching professional sports and video games.
