Stevens Institute of Technology Athletics

Jessica Bourque and Lisa Tessitore won at first doubles in all three of Stevens dual-match victories on the week. Bourque also won at first singles twice (there was no result against Ithaca as the match was stopped once decided). Tessitore won at second singles against Houghton but did not finish against Ithaca and Elmira due the match already being decided.
 
The duo’s biggest win of the week came on Monday, Sept 30 when they won the 2013 ITA Northeast Regional Doubles title. The historic victory gives the duo ITA All-American recognition and entry into the National Small College Championships in Fort Myers, Florida from October 10-13^th. Both are program firsts.
