About SAAC
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee represents the voice of the Division III student-athlete in the Division III governance structure.
Mission
The mission of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Stevens Institute of Technology is to act as a liaison between student-athletes and athletic administration, as well as the campus community. We aim to promote positive sportsmanship and leadership through community service, civic involvement, and academic excellence. GO DUCKS!
Community Service Initiatives
TBA
In previous years, Stevens has organized the Duckling Day Program as one of SAAC's largest initiatives. It is geared towards engaging the young minds of children from local schools by teaching them STEM skills. Every couple of weeks, each team plans and engages an interactive lesson that is both fun and educational. Each year, SAAC hosts Duckling in Reverse Day on our campus, where we invited the students in the Duckling Program to the Stevens campus and showed them what it is like to be a student-athlete.
2025-26 Events and Meetings
TBA
NCAA Division III Week
NCAA Division III Week celebrates student athletes and the impact they have on their campus and the surrounding community. During the week, Stevens has interactive events for student-athletes and others on campus. DIII week for the 2025-26 academic year is TBA.
The SAAC Executive Board is comprised of four members of the athletic community who have displayed strong leadership values and have been voted in by their peers to lead the organization and come up with new innovative ideas to better the athletic community.
