Junior Mike Polizzi has started the 2013-14 with a perfect 5-0 record and claimed the 149-lb. title at the Roger Williams University Invitational last Saturday.  The nationally No. 6 ranked grappler at 149 rolled to his title, outscoring his opponents by a final count of 68-1. The junior earned the team 23 points en route to his championship. He won his first bout 14-0 (maj. dec.) and his second bout by fall at :38 of the first period. In the quarters, Polizzi tallied a 19-1 technical fall and backed that up with a 16-0 tech fall in the semis over Mike Perruccio of WPI. In the final, Polizzi continued to completely dominate, rolling 12-0 over Christopher Siracusa of Wesleyan.
