Sophomore Amy Regan (Green Brook, N.J.) was selected as the Empire 8 Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performances at the Boston University Valentine Invitational this past weekend.

Regan established a new personal best and school record by 28 seconds in the 5,000-meter race. Regan now holds the second fastest time in Division III with her time of 16:55.59 and placed seventh overall out of 78 runners in the multi-divisional race.

She also ran the final leg on the distance medley relay that set a new school record with a time of 12:35.57 and finished 21st. Seniors Kelly Freed (Rutherford, N.J.) andAshley Princiotta (Manalapan, N.J.) and freshman Melissa Gibbons (Oradell, N.J.) made up the rest of the team.
