Gladys Njoku won the high jump and long jump events at the Empire 8 Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on April 19. She posted a mark of 1.63 meters (5 feet, 4.25 inches) in the high jump and 5.51 meters (18' 1") in the long jump, which is good for school record and 26th overall in Division III.

Njoku was named Field Athlete of the Meet.
