NEW YORK, N.Y. (November 14, 2014) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team went 1-2 Friday at the Columbia Duals.
 
The one day event was held on the campus of Columbia University.
 
The Ducks beat the University of Florida 15-12, but dropped a 20-7 decision to nationally ranked Columbia, and a 14-13 match to New Jersey Institute of Technology.
 
Junior Logan Koester led the Ducks in epee, going 7-2 on the day.
 
The Ducks will be back in action on Sunday of the MACFAs where among others they'll battle student-athletes from the Unviersty of Maryland, the University of Virginia, and Johns Hopkins University.
