Caroleen Chen earned the 100th win of her career to highlight a 2-3 day in Massachusetts for the Stevens Institute of Technology women's fencing team.
The Ducks are now 17-6 on the season.
Stevens tallied an exciting 14-13 win over Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a 20-7 victory over New Jersey Institute of Technology, but fell to Brown University (18-9), Boston College (21-6) and Brandeis University (21-6).
Chen led the Ducks' foil team, going 12-3 overall. Her 100th win was a huge one, breaking a 13-13 tie in the MIT match and giving the Ducks the 14-13 win. In sabre action,
Zoe To went 8-6, and leading the epee squad was senior
Briana Nieradka who went 10-5.
Stevens will return to action at the Eastern Women's Fencing Conference Team Championships in New York, N.Y. February 9.
