HOBOKEN, N.J. (SEPTEMBER 29, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer team returns home for a game against interstate rival Drew University Wednesday at 7 p.m.
SATURDAY REWINDThe Ducks battled Ithaca College to a 1-1 draw last Saturday, moving their record 5-2-1 on the season. Junior
Gabby Mathelier tallied the lone goal for Stevens, while sophomore
Lindsey Mahnken made three stops.
LAST MEETINGStevens defeated the Rangers 2-0 last September.
Raba Nassif and
Ann Heine tallied the goals while Mahnken and
Evelyn Ting combined for the shutout.
SCOUTING THE RANGERSDrew is led by senior Emma Campbell, who was First Team All-Landmark Conference last fall. Campbell is the team leader with four goals and 41 shots and is second on the club with a pair of assists. Senior Shannon Slowey has handed out three assists while also scoring two goals.
SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTSThrough eight games this year, the Ducks have outshot their opponents 142-91. The only game in which they were outshot was against then #3 Messiah College in which Stevens only attempted five shots.

Zisi Komar and senior
Carly Bean lead the team in nearly every statistical category. Komar leads with five goals and 11 points, while Nassif and Bean are second in goals, assists, and points.
