No. 16 Women’s Swimming Falls To No. 6 Johns Hopkins

RESULTS

BALTIMORE, Md. (January 16, 2016)
– The No. 16 Stevens Institute of Technology women's swimming team fell to No. 6 Johns Hopkins University 157-97 Saturday.

The Ducks fell to 1-1 in dual meets this year.

Senior Elizabeth Heinbach picked up a second place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle, while senior Elena Piper and freshman Laurie Prinz grabbed third and fourth in the 100-breaststroke respectively.

Sophomore Sarah Jurczyk placed second in the 100-butterfly, picking up a time of 59.70. Senior Katlyn Christenson, sophomore Tori Glascock and freshman Alicia Galer combined to score 16 points in the in 200-yard IM, while the 400-yard freestyle relay team ended the day with a second place with a time of 4:00.44.

The Ducks return home to take on The College of New Jersey on Wednesday at 3 p.m..
