HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 21, 2016) – The No. 5 Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer team closes out its regular season road schedule with a match against Elmira on Sunday.

MATCH INFO
Kick-off at Ernie David Academy in Elmira, N.Y. is scheduled for 12 p.m. The academy is about five minutes from the ECD campus.

LAST TIME OUT
The Ducks suffered their first defeat of the season, losing a 1-0 heartbreaker to No. 7 TCNJ. The loss dropped Stevens to 13-1-0 on the year.

WIN & CLINCH
With a victory over the Soaring Eagles, the Ducks will lock down the No. 1 seed in the Empire 8 Conference Tournament in two weeks.

2015 REWIND
Stevens topped Elmira 9-0 at the De Baun Athletic Complex last fall. Senior Raba Nassif tallied a natural hat trick, with the goals coming 1:51 a part.

Junior goalkeeper Lindsey Mahnken boasts a 1.000 save percentage and has made four saves during Empire 8 Conference play this season.

The Soaring Eagles enter with a 1-11-1 record, including a 0-6-0 mark in the E8. Sara Kazerouni leads the team with five goals and an assist while starting all 13 games.

Stevens closes out its non-conference schedule Tuesday with a game against Western Connecticut before ending the regular season with 12 p.m. showdown against Ithaca next Saturday.
