Ithaca 9 Stevens 0
In game one, Ithaca used a five-run third inning to break open a one-run game en route to downing the Ducks 9-0.

The Bombers jumped out in front in the first on Alex Wright's RBI groundout off Christine LaRochelle (9-4). Stevens had a chance to respond in its half of the frame. Emily Sellitti walked to lead off the game and moved to second on Samantha Schattin's sacrifice bunt. Corinne Loncar singled to center and both runners advanced an extra base on Annie Cooney's error. However, with runners in scoring position, Haley Congdon (9-2) induced a popup to short and a groundout to leave the runners stranded.

Ithaca broke the game open in the third. Nikkey Skuraton reached on an error by Schattin and moved to second on the miscue. Allie Colleran walked and Jessie Fleck reached on an infield single to load the bases. Vanessa Brown singled through the right side to score the first run of the inning. After Alex Wright's fielder's choice grounder, pinch-hitter Abby Shields drew a bases-loaded walk to force Fleck home. Hannah Anderson struck for the big blow of the inning, doubling into right field to score two runs. Annie Cooney's RBI groundout closed the scoring.

Stevens loaded the bases against Congdon in the third. Schattin worked a one-out walk and moved to second on Loncar's single. After Olivia Gemma struck out, junior Farryl Groder reached on a bunt single to load the bases, but Congdon induced a grounder from Cara Napolitano to end the threat.

Ithaca added a run on a Brown single and Colleran added a two-run homer in the sixth to force the run differential rule.

Congdon earned the shutout win, allowing seven hits and struck out four.

Ithaca 5 Stevens 2
In game two, Shannon Grage's two-run double powered Ithaca to a 5-2 win over the Ducks.

Ithaca got on the board right away against Marissa Cappello (4-7), scoring two runs in the opening inning. Jamie Fleck worked a one-out walk and promptly stole second. Vanessa Brown walked and after Alex Wright's flyout, Grage connected on a Cappello offering and drove it down the right field line to score both runners. Ithaca added a run in the second on Brown's bases-loaded walk.

Stevens threatened against Emily Holden (7-1) in the second. Cara Napolitano walked to lead off the inning. Olivia Gemma singled up the middle, but Holden retired Marissa Barnes, Gina DeOliveira and Victoria Kapp to strand the runners.

The Ducks finally broke through against Holden in the third. Samantha Schattin worked a one-out walk and easily stole second. After Loncar struck out, shortstop Ellie Murray misplayed Farryl Groder's grounder, allowing Schattin to score.

After the early runs, both pitchers settled in and combined for three scoreless innings. Ithaca struck for two runs in the seventh. Nikkey Skuraton drove in a run with a single and Allie Colleran drew a bases-loaded walk to push the Bombers lead to 5-1.

The Ducks rallied against Holden in the seventh. Emily Sellitti tripled to right and scored on Schattin's RBI single up the middle. Corinne Loncar singled to short to bring the tying run to the plate, but Groder grounded out to end the game.

Up Next: The Ducks begin a stretch of three consecutive road contests, with a non-conference doubleheader at St. Joseph's College (LI) on Wednesday afternoon in Patchogue.
