WALTHAM, Mass. (February 3, 2018) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team topped Boston College to highlight its trip to the Bay State on Saturday. The Ducks also faced off against Brown University, NJIT, MIT and host Brandeis University at the event.
 
Foilist Ryan Edelstein was the only Stevens fencer to post a winning record on Saturday at 8-7.  George Allen won six bouts at foil as well.
 
At Epee, Kirk Visser, won seven matchups and Brennan Casey was victorious in five.
 
Juan Amezquita and Eric Sang posted identical 7-8 records at sabre for Stevens.
 
The Ducks will host a MACFA Round Robin next week against Hunter College, Army, Yeshiva University and New Jersey Institute of Technology on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
