HOBOKEN, N.J. (August 27, 2021)  – The Stevens Institute of Technology Department of Athletics has announced its Spectator Guidelines for the 2021-22 athletic year. 

Stevens Athletics looks forward to welcoming fans and spectators back to home athletic events during the 2021-22 academic year. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, Stevens Athletics has adopted the following guidelines for spectators to attend home athletic events. These protocols are subject to change and updates will be added to this page as they develop. Outdoor Facilities (DeBaun Athletic Complex, Weehawken Waterfront Park, Stevens Tennis Courts and Dobbelaar Field)
Spectators that are fully vaccinated do not need to wear face coverings at Stevens' outdoor athletic facilities. Spectators that are not fully vaccinated will need to wear a face covering at all times. Face coverings should cover the person's nose and mouth fully at all times.

If a spectator at an outdoor athletic event must enter the Schaefer Athletic Center for any reason (restroom, concessions, etc.), they must wear a face covering at all times regardless of their vaccination status.

Canavan Arena
Spectators must wear a face covering at all times when inside the Schaefer Athletic Center and Canavan Arena. Face coverings should cover the person's nose and mouth fully at all times.

DeBaun Aquatic Center
Unfortunately, due to capacity restrictions, spectators will not be permitted for home swimming competitions. 

A few other reminders: 

• Pre- and postgame gatherings in parking lots, grassy areas, the Schaefer Athletic Center, or other campus areas are discouraged
• Designated areas for spectators may be marked in select locations
• Limited concessions will be available at select home athletic events
• Guests may bring water or non-alcoholic beverages into Stevens' athletic facilities. When indoors, guests may remove their face coverings to take a drink, but must immediately resume wearing their face covering.

All spectator guidelines are subject to change. Prospective spectators should also note that home athletic event times and dates are also subject to change.
