The Generals knotted the set at 20-20, but five straight for the Ducks pushed the match to a fourth set.

Stevens kept the Generals at bay throughout the fourth, taking a 9-6 lead and maintaining at least a three-point cushion the rest of the set, as Washington & Lee could not string three straight points together the entire set.

With the fifth and final set tied at 3, two kills from Boland bookended a 4-0 run, the sophomore later following a Lisboa kill with yet another of her own as the Ducks went up 9-4.
