Stevens Places 10 on Spring All-MAC Sportsmanship Team

Newtown, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology Department of Athletics saw a total of 10 student-athletes named to the spring Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) All-Sportsmanship Team, the league office announced Thursday.

The Spring MAC All-Sportsmanship Team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport, including baseball, men's golf, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's outdoor track & field, women's outdoor track & field, softball, men's tennis, men's volleyball, and softball.

This season's representatives from Stevens were baseball graduate student Griffin Zitko, men's golf junior Sebastian Beaver, men's lacrosse graduate student Blake Creamer, women's lacrosse senior Emma Guzowski, men's track & field sophomore Enrico Parrella, women's track & field senior Lauren Alley, softball senior Ella Tozduman, men's tennis junior Samvid Andhare, women's tennis senior Aliona Heitz, and men's volleyball junior Dominic Ambrose.

The MAC All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify great character and display exceptional sportsmanship both on and off the field. They represent their team, institution, and the conference with high integrity and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, and opponents. They are humble and hold themselves with pride, competing at the same level of intensity no matter who the competition is, or the outcome of the contest. These student-athletes were selected by the head coaches and student-athletes from their respective teams.
