During the summer of 2007, the DeBaun Athletic Complex underwent a major renovation as the existing NeXturf surface was replaced with state-of-the-art FieldTurf. This marked a significant upgrade to the surface and provided Stevens with a first-class outdoor facility. The DeBaun Athletic Complex is home to the Stevens baseball, field hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and men’s and women soccer teams.  It is used for club and intramural sports, physical education classes and general recreation, as well as graduation and other major campus events. In 2009, the Department of Athletics installed seatback chairs and in 2011 a state-of-the-art sound system was installed to enhance the student-athlete and fan experience.
