The Department of Physical Eduction, Athletics and Recreation prides itself upon the diversity of our roles toward the development of student life at Stevens. Our comprehensive program allows us to impact almost all of our student body in a way that encourages wholesome activities that can be pursued over a lifetime.

Stevens offers 25 intercollegiate sports and continues to demonstrate a commitment to the ideals of sportsmanship and the philosophy of NCAA Division III athletics.

Indoor Athletic Events
From the 8th street parking lot, please walk up the path with the field being on your right. You will then proceed up the stairs and go in the second set of doors on your left into the Schaefer Athletic Center. Restrooms are located inside and there is open seating inside Canavan Arena.

Outdoor Athletic Events
From the 8th street parking lot, please walk up the path with the field being on your right. You will then proceed up the stairs to the bleachers to view the contest. Restrooms are located inside Schaefer Athletic Center, in the next set of doors on your left.

Photo Policy
Stevens Institute of Technology does require that you obtain a sideline pass in order to shoot any athletic event. Please contact the Athletic Communications office at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a sideline pass. ONLY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS shooting for Stevens Institute of Technology, the visiting school or approved media outlets will be issued a sideline pass and Stevens reserves the right to revoke photography privileges based upon sideline conduct during the game.

If you attempt to photograph from the playing surface without a credential, you will be asked to return to the spectator seating area.

Pet Policy
Please be aware that Stevens Institute of Technology has a very strict pet policy for all events. Pets are not permitted at Stevens Institute of Technology's athletic fields or facilities. Only service pets, such as seeing eye dogs for example, are permitted. We understand that some institutions do not have a policy, so we ask that you make sure that this information is passed along to any family or friends who will be attending this event.

Sports Medicine
If your team is not traveling with an athletic trainer, we will provide one for you. We request that you provide specific instructions for the care of your athletes, as well as any necessary supplies. Modality use and taping will be limited to the instructions provided.
