Biography
2010: Did not run.
2009: Named to the All-Collegiate Track Conference, Second-Team All-Empire 8 and Rookie of the Year. Also was team’s Most Valuable Runner. Qualified for NCAAs at Letchworth State Park with a time of 26:55 on the 8-000-meter run. Set seven course records throughout the season, all on 8K courses except one. Best time came at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University with a time of 26:33. At the Collegiate Track Championships, DeWan posted a 26:36 to place sixth overall. Posted a 26:36 at the Stevens Invitational to lead Ducks to first place finish. Also led Stevens to a first place finish at NJIT with a final time of 26:37 to place second overall individually. Came in 12th at the Empire 8 Championships in a time of 27:18.
