Emily Woo

After a very impressive career as a member of the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s swimming program, the 2009-10 season was the first as a member of Trevor Miele’s coaching staff for ‘09 graduate Emily Woo.

Woo helped guide the women to a second place finish in the conference and 12th in the nation, while helping the men win the Empire 8 and place 17th at the NCAA’s.

Woo graduated with three individual school-records and is still a member of four record-holding relay teams. The California native continues to hold the 100-yard backstroke record. Woo was the Stevens recipient of the 2009 NJAIAW Woman of the Year award and New Jersey Congressman Albio Sires  presented her with an official congressional record for her outstanding achievements in academics and athletics.
