Rebecca Mullen joined the Stevens Institute of Technology swimming staff in the Fall of 2017 and currently serves as the Aquatics Coordinator and SAAC Coordinator.

Mullen has helped the men's swimming program capture three consecutive conference titles while also helping the women's team to its first title since 2012-13 in 2019-20. 

Prior to her time at Stevens, Mullen was assistant commissioner at the New England Collegiate Conference, where she managed the NECC website, facilitated all social media and ran seven sports’ championships during each academic year, including marketing, game programs and supervision of the site.

On the coaching side, Mullen was the head swim team coach at the Metro North YMCA from 2014-17. She oversaw the transition of the program to a USA sanctioned team. She supervised six coaches and increased the team’s participation from 45 to 95 swimmers in her time there.

Mullen has been an issues forum facilitator at the NCAA convention for the last three years, was part of the LeadHERship symposium, and has been a part of the ECACsida and MACDA/CoSIDA conventions.

Mullen graduated from Worcester State University in Massachusetts with a degree in criminal justice & urban studies in May of 2013. She also graduated with her Master's Degree in Sport Industry Management from Georgetown University in 2020.
