Stevens Institute of Technology head softball coach Erica Mehalick named Nicole Scanlon the Ducks assistant softball coach in September, 2015.
In her first season on the staff, Scanlon helped lead the Ducks to 23 wins to give the Ducks their third-consecutive season of at least 20 wins.

Scanlon was a catcher for Stockton University from 2012-14, where she led the team in batting average, hits, and RBIs as a junior in 2013. Scanlon has also spent time coaching 18U and 16U softball teams for Nexxt Level Sports, in addition to her experience as a private hitting and catching instructor.

A 2014 graduate of Stockton, Scanlon currently resides in Colonia, N.J.
