Assistant Coach

Josiah Thompson joined the Stevens track & field coaching staff in the Fall of 2024.

Thompson joins the Ducks after spending two seasons as an Assistant Coach with the University of Connecticut track & field teams. After a stint as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, he served as a Graduate Assistant from August 2023 - May 2024. In this role, Thompson assisted with workout and technique training to collegiate athletes who perform sprints, hurdles, and multiple events. He also assisted with planning and organizing recruitment of athletes for the University.

A five year member of the Huskies, Thompson competed in sprints and relay events. He graduated from Uconn with Bachelor of Science in Communication in 2022 and a Master of Science in Sports Management in 2024.
