Aziza Hassan

Aziza Hassan enters her third season as an assistant coach for the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s fencing team in 2007-08.

Last season, Hassan assisted the coaching staff in leading the Ducks to an 11-7 dual meet record. She also helped in sending five fencers to the first round of the NCAA Championships at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J.

In her first year with the squad in 2005-06, Hassan assisted in directing Stevens to a second-place finish at the Eastern Women’s Fencing Conference Dual Meet Championship as well as a ninth-place showing at the National Intercollegiate Women’s Fencing Association Championship.

As a fencer, Hassan was a student-athlete at Temple University, where she earned NIWFA and All-America honors.

Hassan graduated from Temple in 2004 with a B.A. in Public Relations.
