Stevens Institute of Technology Athletics

Donna Stone, who was a three-time national epee champion and seven-time finalist, begins her fourth season as an assistant coach (specializing in the epee) with the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s fencing team in 2005-06.

Stone, who represented the United States on six world championship teams, earned a gold medal at the 1995 Pan American Games and also placed fifth at the 1989 World Championships in Denver, Colo.  A four-year varsity standout at New York University, Stone received the school’s outstanding student-athlete award twice.  She was inducted into the NYU Hall of Fame in 1991 and the United States Fencing Association Hall of Fame in 2001.
