Nick DiBenedetto was hired as the Assistant Men's and Women's Swimming Coach prior to the start of the 2021-22 season. DiBenedetto comes to Stevens after serving as the Assistant Swimming Coach at Drew University during the 2021 season.
DiBenedetto started his college coaching career as a Graduate Assistant Coach at his alma mater Fairleigh Dickinson University where he was a collegiate swimmer.

In his time at FDU, DiBenedetto was named the team Rookie of the Year in the 2015-2016 season, and was team captain and team scholar-athlete in the 2019-2020 season. He also broke the school record 200-yard butterfly.
Outside of college coaching, DiBenedetto also was a club coach at the Westfield Area Y and The Atlantic Club.

Nick graduated from FDU with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2019, and a Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2020.
