Stevens Institute of Technology Athletics

A native of Medford, N.J., Hurst is a 1998 graduate of Rutgers University where he was a four year letter winner of the Scarlet Knights wrestling program.  He served as a team captain during his senior year and was ranked 16th in the country by AWN at 149 pounds Division I NCAA.  Hurst finished his career with an 8th place finish at the Midlands Tournament and a 101-37 career record, which was 8th on the Rutgers career records.

Hurst earned a BA from Rutgers College, Rutgers University and a MS from Touro College in Occupational Therapy.  He is currently employed by the Liberty Rehabilitation Institute and JZV Center for Upper Extremity Rehabilitation.
