Adam Reiter was hired as Stevens' Athletic Communications Manager in the Fall of 2024.
Reiter most recently served as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at the University of Pennsylvania for two years. In that role, he served as the primary media contact for the Quakers' men’s soccer, men’s tennis, men's & women's squash, men's & women's fencing, and baseball programs. During his two-year tenure in Philly, Reiter was also part of the team that served as host institution for the 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Sweet Sixteen/Elite Eight at the Wells Fargo Center, as well as the 2022 and 2023 Penn Relays.

Reiter came to University City from Wagner College, where he was an Assistant Director for Media Relations. At Wagner, Reiter handled the media relations duties for the Seahawks’ men’s & women’s lacrosse programs, men's & women's golf programs, and triathlon program, assisting with a handful of other programs. During his time on Staten Island, Reiter wrote game previews and recaps, generated social media content for both team and departmental accounts, live statted multiple sports, worked with Twitter LiveCut for the school’s basketball and lacrosse programs, and created gameday scripts for Olympic sports.

Reiter arrived at Wagner after working as the primary media contact with Manhattanville College’s field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s basketball, women’s ice hockey, baseball and lacrosse programs as well as secondary contact for the school’s other programs. During his time in Purchase between September 2017 and May 2019, Reiter’s responsibilities included writing game recaps, creating gameday scripts, and creating social media/promotional content for the department’s social media outlets. Additional responsibilities included live statting multiple sports and providing play-by-play/color commentary for various live broadcasts. Reiter also helped recruit more than a dozen student workers to the athletic communications department, several of whom became full-time athletic communicators after graduation.
Reiter has also worked numerous prominent athletic events, including but not limited to all 26 games of "Bubbleville" at Mohegan Sun Arena in November/December 2020, the 2015 & 2017 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournaments, the 2015 Men’s & 2017 Men’s and Women’s American Athletic Conference Basketball Tournaments, and the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee.

A native of Brookfield, Conn., Reiter graduated from UAlbany with a degree in Journalism; he also holds a Master of Science degree in Sports Business Management from Manhattanville.
