A professional strength and conditioning coach with over 30 years experience, Wu enters his 19th season as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach on Ryan Linder’s staff. 

Since joining Stevens in 2007 Coach Wu has been a fixture training Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Under his guidance Men’s Tennis has reached the NCAA Tournament in 16 of the last 18 years while Women’s Tennis has made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in each of the last four seasons. Since taking over training of the Golf team in 2018, the team won its first conference championship in 2020-21 and has appeared in the national tournament for five consecutive seasons . Wu was also co-lead trainer for Men’s Volleyball during their NCAA Championship seasons in 2015 and 2023.   

Wu has also serves as the head club ice hockey coach at Stevens. A lifelong hockey player himself, Wu was a natural fit to lead the program starting in its inaugural season of 2009.  Wu played 12 years of competitive roller hockey spanning his pre and post college days and was a key member on back to back championship teams in 1989 and 1990 for the Hill Sports Association Rams. During his tenure, ice hockey has qualified for post-season play 10 times and was crowned champion of the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference in 2015.  During the 2021-22 season Wu reached his 100th win as a coach. 

A native of Queens, NY, Coach Wu graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1988 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. In 1995, while maintaining a full-time career on Wall Street, Wu earned certificates in Fitness Instruction from New York University and Personal Training from the American Council on Exercise. He currently resides in Hoboken, NJ with his wife, Melanie and daughter, Rebecca.
