Wu has also served as the head club ice hockey coach at Stevens. A lifelong hockey player himself, Wu was a natural fit to lead the program starting in its inaugural season of 2009. Wu played 12 years of competitive roller hockey spanning his pre and post college days and was a key member on back to back championship teams in 1989 and 1990 for the Hill Sports Association Rams.

A native of Queens, NY, Wu graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1988 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. In 1995, while maintaining a fulltime career on Wall Street, Wu earned certificates in Fitness Instruction from New York University and Personal Training from the American Council on Exercise. From 1995-2000 Wu earned an Aquatics Specialist Certification from the Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research and worked at several of NYC’s elite training companies including The Athletic Complex, Sparta Strength & Conditioning and Cardio Fitness Corporation.   From 2000-2007, Wu ran his own company training adult and senior athletes competing in distance running, golf, tennis, and skiing. Wu earned his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2005 and a Kickboxing certificate from the International Sports Conditioning Association in 2006. Since joining Stevens in 2007 Wu became certified as a Nutrition Specialist from the American Academy of Sports Dieticians and Nutritionists.
