Jon Lanzalotto joined the Stevens coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in July 2025.
Lanzalotto comes to Stevens after serving as the Offensive Coordinator at NJIT in 2025 and at Montclair State in 2024. In those roles, he coached the offense, faceoff units, and rides, while also designing weekly game plans.
“It is a pleasure to add Jon as an Assistant Coach here at Stevens,” Head Coach Gene Peluso expressed. “His knowledge and ability to teach student-athletes is very impressive. He brings a wealth of experience from different levels and has established himself as an impactful coach. Jon is multifaceted in what he brings to our program, and we are excited to have him working with our staff and our student-athletes.”
Lanzalotto also serves on the coaching staff of the U-20 Haudenosaunee National Team, which competed in the U-20 World Games in South Korea in the summer of 2025.
In addition to his collegiate and international coaching experience, Lanzalotto is the Event Coordinator for NJ Riot. He recruits new talent, organizes recruiting events, and develops offensive skill training for athletes. He directed the 2024 Jersey Strong Showcase and served as head coach for a team that competed in the World Series of Youth Lacrosse for two consecutive years.
From August 2022 to December 2023, Lanzalotto worked as the Director of Operations for Rutgers Lacrosse, where he managed day-to-day practice operations, coordinated prospect days, conducted film breakdown for scouting, and assisted with recruiting efforts.
A former midfielder, Lanzalotto played at Montclair State from 2018 to 2021.
