Kyle O’Dea joined the Stevens Men’s Lacrosse coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in the fall of 2025.

“Kyle has been an outstanding addition to our coaching staff," stated Head Coach Gene Peluso. "I had the pleasure of watching him play defense at St. John Fisher throughout his college career, and he brought the same passion and discipline into his coaching role. Kyle works closely with our defensive personnel and has already made a significant impact within our program. We’re thrilled to have him on staff here at Stevens. He connects naturally with our student-athletes and has quickly become a tremendous asset to our program.”

O’Dea arrives at Castle Point after an accomplished run at St. John Fisher, where he served on the Cardinals’ staff as an Assistant Coach from 2021-2024. He began his tenure in 2021 as a volunteer assistant before moving to Defensive Coordinator from 2022-2024. During his tenure, Fisher secured four consecutive Empire 8 Championships and NCAA Tournament Appearances, highlighted by a run to the Elite Eight in 2024.

Prior to coaching, O’Dea was a four-year starter on Defense for Fisher (2017-2020). He was a two-time captain and a Scholar All-American, and in 2019 helped lead the Cardinals to their first Empire 8 Championship and first NCAA Tournament win in program history.
