Junior Robert Pinto (Staten Island, N.Y.) was named Empire 8 Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Boston University Valentine Invitational this past weekend.

Pinto finished first overall in the high jump with a mark of 2.06 meters (6 feet, 8.25 inches) in the multi-divisional. Pinto set a new school record in the process and currently ranks 11th in Division III.
