NEW YORK, N.Y. – Junior Chris Morrow (New Milford, NJ/Bergen Catholic) scored three second-half goals as Stevens Institute of Technology cruised to a 6-0 win over Yeshiva University on Sunday in a Skyline Conference men’s soccer game.

Stevens set a school record for wins in a season, going 13-3-2 overall.  The 1987 and 2001 squads both won 12 games.  The Ducks finished Skyline Conference regular season play with a 5-1-2 record.  Stevens, the third seed in the conference tournament, will open defense of its Skyline title on Wednesday with a semifinal game at St. Joseph’s-Patchogue.  The Ducks earned a 5-1 win over St. Joseph’s at home on October 2.

Stevens scored two goals in a five-minute span midway through the first half.  Sophomore Adam Kalbermatten (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) lofted a shot from 40 yards that sailed over Yeshiva goalkeeper Ari Davis at 20:03.  Senior Giuseppe Incitti (River Edge, NJ), who assisted on the first goal, scored on a 30-yard drive at 24:52 as the Ducks carried a 2-0 lead into halftime.

Morrow, who had just one goal on the season, scored three straight goals in the second half as Stevens broke the game open.  He scored in the 47th minute, 55th minute and completed the hat trick in the 67th minute with a header off the foot of sophomore Kwesi Kerr (Kingston, Jamaica/Wolmer’s Boys School).

Freshman midfielder Tom Ficchi (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) closed out the scoring with his first collegiate goal in the 69th minute.

Stevens, resting its starters for much of the game, maintained a 25-3 advantage in shots.  Reserve goalkeepers, freshman George DaSilva (Harrison, NJ/Harrison) and junior Ben Shaw (Wayne, PA/Upper Merion), combined for the shutout for the Ducks.
