POMONA, N.J. - Denise Prosser and Kari Devine scored goals in the second half to lead 23rd-ranked Richard Stockton to a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday night in a women's soccer game.
Stockton (10-1) was forced to overcome a 1-0 halftime deficit as Stevens (6-6) received a goal from junior forward Valerie Barnhart (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) at the 36:03 mark.  Barnhart has now scored in five consecutive games.  The Ducks had a strong first half, outshooting the host Ospreys 5-3.
Stockton pulled even at 49:01.  Stevens was whistled for a foul in the penalty area and Prosser converted the ensuing penalty kick to tie the game at 1-1.
The Ospreys, who outshot the Ducks 9-7 in the second half, took the lead on an unassisted goal by Devine at 61:11.
Stockton received seven saves from sophomore goalkeeper Becky Baisley.  Senior goalkeeper Rommy Guevara (Kearny, N.J./Kearny) stopped six shots for Stevens.
The Ducks return to action on Saturday, October 11, when they host Kean University in a 1 p.m. game at DeBaun Field.
