HOBOKEN, N.J. – Junior attack Valerie Barnhart (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Area) had five goals and four assists and senior attack Juliet Pullis (Boonton Township, N.J./Mountain Lakes) scored five goals to lead the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s lacrosse team to a 19-1 win over Centenary College on Wednesday night at DeBaun Field.

Stevens ends its regular season at 13-2 overall and 4-0 in the Knickerbocker Women’s Lacrosse Conference.  The Ducks earned the top seed in the conference tournament and will host Manhattanville College on Wednesday, April 28, at 4 p.m. in the semifinals.  Centenary falls to 2-3 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

Stevens held a 13-0 lead at halftime.  Junior attack Rebecca Quinn (Damascus, Md./Damascus) scored the first two goals, including a goal 18 seconds into the game to give the Ducks the lead.  She finished with four goals and two assists for the game.

Barnhart had all five of her goals in the first half and all four assists in the second half.  Pullis scored four of her five goals in the second half.

Centenary broke up the shutout when senior Jamie Campesi scored on a free-position shot with 12:50 left in the second half.

Stevens held a 36-4 advantage in shots.  Freshman goalkeeper Laura Davis stopped 10 shots for Centenary.  Sophomore Missy Scott (Barnegat, N.J./Southern Regional) made three saves for Stevens.
