WESTMINSTER, Md. (May 12, 2007) – Trailing 5-4 with less than 26 minutes to go in the game, top-seeded Cabrini College scored five straight goals during a decisive run as the Cavaliers advanced to the championship game of the 2007 ECAC Division III Women's Lacrosse Metro-South Tournament with a 9-7 victory over Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday at McDaniel College in Westminster, Md. With the loss, the fifth-seeded Ducks closed out the season with an overall record of 12-8.

From that point on, the Cavaliers took control as they scored five unanswered goals while holding Stevens scoreless for nearly 20 minutes.  Five different players scored in the run as Cabrini went on top 9-5 with 7:41 remaining.  The Ducks would not go away though as freshman midfielder Kara Borzillo and Perriello scored to close the gap to 9-7 with under a minute to play.
