Sellitto, Sullivan Tabbed as IWLCA All-Americans

Duo Earns Third Straight All-American Honor

Hoboken, N.J. – Seniors Stefanie Sellitto and Lauren Sullivan of the Stevens Institute of Technology women's lacrosse team were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America Team on Friday.

Sellitto was named to the First Team, with Sullivan gaining Second Team honors. The duo collects their third straight All-American accolade, with both earning Third Team laurels in 2024 and Second Team honors in 2025.

"Stefanie and Lauren are two of the hardest-working, most dedicated, and coachable athletes I've had the honor to be around and guide," expressed Head Coach Madeline Buechli. "They have both always put the team first and played such an important role in building the culture here at Stevens Women's Lacrosse. The recognition they are receiving is a reflection of the impact they've made and all they've poured into this program throughout the years. Watching them develop as players and people over the past four years has been incredibly special, and I couldn't be prouder of all they've accomplished."

The Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Midfielder of the Year, Sellitto capped off her career on Castle Point with 215 goals and 45 assists while becoming the only student-athlete in program history to record over 500 draw controls. This season, she broke her own school-record with 166 draw controls (surpassing her previous best of 165 in each of the last two campaigns) while netting a career-best 80 points (63 goals). In the MAC Freedom Championship Game victory over DeSales, she set a single-game record with 19 draw controls while adding three goals and three assists. The senior finished sixth nationally with 7.9 draw controls per game and helped the Ducks finish second in the country with a 69.4% draw control percentage.

Recently named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year for an unprecedented fourth straight season, Sullivan added a fourth consecutive All-Region First Team selection to her prolific list of accolades. The Bridgewater, N.J. native anchored a defensive unit that allowed just 6.62 goals per game this season, 17th-best in Division III, while averaging nearly two ground balls, more than one caused turnover and nearly four draw controls per game. Since the start of the 2023 season, Stevens has surrendered fewer than 6.6 goals per contest.
