POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (November 11, 2012) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team opened up its dual meet season on Sunday at Vassar College. The Ducks were led by
Jorge Rojas (Guaynabo, P.R.) who went 11-1 individually. Stevens topped the United States Military Academy, Yeshiva University and host Vassar College on the day.

Anthony Worthington also had a good day at 9-4. At epee,
Billy Dannhauser (Fairfield, Conn.) and
Ryan Megaro (Pennington, N.J.) had eight and six wins, respectively for the Ducks.
In addition to the team's success this weekend, the coaching staff had some great news to report as well. Sabre coach
Aleks Ochocki took the bronze medal in the NAC (North American Cup) this weekend; a selection event that determines the team for the World Championships team for this year, and will be the same event that chooses the Olympic team in 2016. The final results can be seen here:
