HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 25, 2013) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball team will host the Stevens Invitational this Friday and Saturday, September 27 & 28. Eleven matches will take place over the two days in Canavan Arena and Walker Gymasium.

Stevens (14-1) plays four matches this weekend against New York University (11-1), Susquehanna University (13-3), Farmingdale State College (2-16) and Brooklyn College (5-4). City College of New York (6-6) will also take part in the Invitational but is not scheduled to play against the Ducks.

On Friday, Stevens will play NYU at 6 p.m. This match was slated to be played on October 9 in Hoboken, but was moved up to this weekend due to a postponed Empire 8 Conference match against Nazareth College that will be made up on October 3. The Ducks will then play Susquehanna at 8 p.m.

The Ducks will play Farmingdale State at 1 p.m. on Saturday, which was to be played Friday evening, and then they will take on Brooklyn at 3 p.m. for the final match of the tournament.

All four Stevens matches will be available via live stats and video on Empire8.tv. Keep up-to-date with all this weekend's action on the Stevens Invitational homepage which includes matchups, box scores and standings throughout the tournament.

Records for all six schools will be updated before the tournament since three teams play tonight and three others play Thursday.

Stevens plays at Haverford College tonight at 7:30 p.m. Live stats and video are provided by Haverford for tonight's match.
