Emily Stukenborg (Stockholm, N.J.), the Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team dropped an Empire 8 conference game at Utica College by a score of 4-1.
Stukenborg recorded the second-highest save total of her career, making 11 stops in the first period and six more in the second. Junior back

The Ducks battled through the final horn, getting on the board as time expired in the second half. The play originated with junior forward
Dailyn Brook (Cherry Hill, N.J.) notching her 10th goal of the season. The veteran now has at least two points in 11 games this season.
The Pioneers (12-1 overall, 6-0 Empire 8) took a 1-0 margin in the 20th minute and were able to extend that lead to 2-0 in the final minute of the first half following a penalty corner.
The lead moved to 4-0 in the second half with markers at 38:53 and 64:23 before the Ducks tallied late.
Utica finished the game with a 31-13 edge in shots, but the Ducks held a 14-12 advantage in peatly corners.
The Ducks are now 6-9 overall and 3-3 in the conference. They are tied for fourth place in the standings with Ithaca College, and the top-four teams will earn a trip to the conference tournament. Stevens and Ithaca will square off Saturday morning in Hoboken (11 a.m.) in a critical matchup. The contest will be part of Homecoming Weekend. Prior to the matchup with the Bombers, Stevens will vist Rowan University Wednesday.
