 – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing program hosted a MACFA Round Robin in the Canavan Arena Sunday, and the Ducks rolled, going a perfect 4-0 on the day.

Stevens opened with a 22-5 win over Hunter College and followed that with a 16-11 victory over New Jersey Institute of Technology. The Ducks defeated Army 17-10, before closing the day with a 20-7 win over Yeshiva.

"The intensity and focus was great today," Head Men's Fencing Coach Jim Carpenter said. "The guys fought hard for every touch."

All three weapons earned wins over Hunter, with eppe going 7-2, sabre going 8-1 and foil tallying a mark of 7-2. In the match versus the Highlanders, epee was 7-2 and sabre was 6-3. Freshman Stephen Rienzi led the Ducks, going 3-0 in epee.

Against Army, the foil squad won 7-2 as senior captain Anthony Worthington went 3-0. Eppe downed the Black Nights, 6-3, getting three wins from freshman Logan Koester.

To close the day, each weapon pocketed a win over Yeshiva with eppe going 7-2 behind 3-0 marks from Rienzi and rookie Bennet Wacaster. Sabre won 5-4, and foil was 8-1 thanks to flawless performances from sophomore Dominik Jedruszczak and senior Michael Creech in the last home action of his career.

The Ducks are now 21-8 on the season and will return to action next weekend when they battle Drew University, Lafayette College, Rutgers University and Cornell University.
