HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 12, 2014) – Armed with a two game winning streak, the Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will travel to Allentown, Pa. Saturday for a 7 p.m. match with Muhlenberg College.
The Ducks (2-2-0) have won two in-a-row after dropping the first two matches to start the season while the Mules are off to a 3-0-0 start.
MEET THE MULES Sophomore Phil Rahling (seven points) and senior Lance Dotzman (six points) lead a Mules offense that has outscored and outshot opponents 9-1 and 51-19 respectively so far this season. In goal, senior Danny Pinto has made nine saves in three starts and benefited from solid defense in front from senior Bryan Attanasio and junior Tommy Hoffmann.
The hot start has garnered the Mules national attention as they were ranked No. 4 in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) poll.
SEEKING REVENGE Muhlenberg has beaten the Ducks the previous two times they've played, the last being a 2-1 win in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2010. Prior to that, the Mules beat Stevens 1-0 on Sep. 6, 2003 in Allentown.
PRYOR PROWESS With a team-leading six points, junior
Carson Pryor has scored or assisted in every match for the Ducks this season. Since transferring to Stevens prior to the 2013 season, the junior has scored or assisted in 18 of 24 games.
RENNA REPORT Sophomore goalie
Mike Renna recorded his first career shutout in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the College of New Jersey. Renna has now saved seven shots over the past two games while only allowing one goal.

Chris Renna has connected on both shots he's taken so far on goal while also adding an assist. The forward currently sits second on the team with five points.
DUCK DEFENSE After allowing 15 shots on goal over the first two games, the Ducks defense has rebounded to only allow eight shots in the previous two. Junior
