WELCOME TO THE CLUBTobin hit her second milestone of the season, becoming the 10
th person in program history to reach 1,000 career digs. Two weeks ago, the Boothwyn, Pa. native became the fifth person to record 1,000 career kills, and is only the third to register both 1,000 digs and 1,000 kills.
EMPIRE STATE OF MINDEven though the Ducks have the weekend off of Empire 8 Conference play, they currently sit on top of the conference, boasting a 5-0 mark. Freshman
Emily Piekarski leads the E8 in service aces per set, while sophomore
Sydni Horner is tops in digs.
BIG BLUE REPORTMillikin comes to New Jersey to take on the Ducks Friday and then Kean University and FDU-Florham on Saturday. The Big Blue enter the weekend with a 15-8 mark, and are led by Erin Syvertsen. Syvertsen has 410 kills on the season, and has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Player of the Week three times this season.
NEARING MILESTONESciarra sits three service aces from 100 in her career, while Shelton needs 13 digs to reach 500.
